TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF CONTRACT TO DESIGN AND BUILD A WEBSITE

All contracts that the Developer may enter into from time to time for the provision of the Developer’s services shall be governed by these Terms and Conditions, and the Developer will ask the Customer for the Customer’s express written acceptance of these Terms and Conditions before providing any such services to the Customer.

THIRD PARTY PROVIDERS

Third party providers are essential to setting up your website.  They provide hosting, emails, security certificates, plugins (functionality for the website) and themes amongst many other things  The Developer shall install these services during the Set Up Services for these third parties, with the Customer’s agreement, and the Customer will undertake to set up the required relationships with third parties to enable the Set Up Services.  For example the Customer will pay for, and maintain, payments to secure the Domain Name which may be an annual recurring payment.

 

WHEN DOES THE CONTRACT END?

The Contract shall continue in force until 180 days after the Effective Date, upon which the Contract shall terminate automatically, subject to termination in accordance with Clause 27 or any other provision of these Terms and Conditions.

 

AT THE END OF THE WEB BUILD

After the Acceptance is complete there will be no liability on the Developer to ensure any part of the Website is maintained. All maintenance, including updating security certificates, third party plugins, themes, host platform versions, become the sole obligation of the Customer.
